Newspaper Boy is a coming-of-age story set in Moston, Manchester in 1992. The play focusses on 15-year-old Christian who is cast into a popular soap opera. 

We see Christian fall in love with Max, a 21-year-old who is his best friend’s step-brother, and the story falling into the tabloid press and the problems this brings.
